It’s a spectroscopic image. That’s white light through a prism. Beautiful, isn’t it? :]
Metrosexual: Noun: A heterosexual urban man whose lifestyle, concern for personal appearance, and spending habits are likened to those considered typical of a fashionable male homosexual.
I am what I am. And, although the definition kind of reveals a societal stigma that we’ve placed on gay men, I find it accurate.
Don’t get me wrong, I’m not going to launch into some pride rant or bullshit like that. I just like people to know. It becomes obvious anyway after you spend time with me. :] Maybe it’s also where I can take my blogs and ish. Daily grooming advice? Maybe. I’ve seen a ton of guys in this world who don’t know how to care for themselves. It’s sad really. I don’t understand how a lot of young guys have slowly devolved to not caring about their appearance? And don’t start with this, appearances aren’t important bullshit, because you know as well as I do that they’re pretty damn important. The guy in the well tailored clothes will always beat the guy in the wrinkled shirt. Unless he’s trying to get in the Wrinkled Shirt Society, of course.
We all judge people by first appearances. The first is the strongest impression we have. I know I judge people by appearances. But as I find out more about the person in question, I always readjust how I perceive them. I think that’s what people mean by “Don’t judge a book by it’s cover”: Judge all you want, just change your perspective when you learn about them. Although I admit it must take some power to beat a misconception. Kind of like Wile E. Coyote: After running off the cliff, he never falls till he looks down. We only feel wrong when we know we’re wrong. A lot of people think they’re right, when they’re actually wrong. Being wrong is never a bad thing though, just as long as you learn.
Okay, so this is starting to tangent, if it hasn’t already. See you all tomorrow? :D
Hmmmm, first post. What should it be? Something small I guess.
Just so you know, because I suppose mostly American’s will read this, I date things day, month, year. It makes more sense that way: every unit increasing in value per unit.
Random post I suppose. But, best to get this one out of the way and then add substance later. I mean, no one ever has famous first words, yeah? It seems to me that we’re a society that likes to celebrate people in death, rather than in life.
So here it is. Hello world. :P
